Shipping Policy for The Square Peg Online Shop

1) Policy overview
- This Shipping Policy explains how The Square Peg Online Shop (referred to as “we,” “our,” or the “Shop”) ships products to customers (referred to as “you” or the “customer”).
- By placing an order, you agree to the terms in this policy, as well as our Returns Policy and Terms of Use.
- We strive to ship all orders promptly and securely, using reputable carriers. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, holidays, or carrier delays.

2) Processing time
- In-stock items: Orders typically ship within 1–2 days after payment confirmation.
- Backordered items: If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you by email and provide an estimated ship date or offer alternatives.

3) Shipping options and delivery times
- Domestic shipments (Philippines, nationwide):
  - Standard Delivery: SPX or Flash Express. Delivery times are typically 3-5 days from the date of dispatch, depending on destination.
  - Same-day Delivery (where available): Lalamove option available for Metro Manila and areas surrounding Tagaytay City. Cutoff times apply (e.g., orders placed before 3pm will be eligible for same-day delivery if placed with sufficient lead time). Please note same-day delivery may have a limited delivery radius and delivery windows.
- International shipments: Not accepted. We ship nationwide within the Philippines only.

Note: Delivery estimates are from the date of dispatch, not from the date of order. We will share a tracking number with you after your order ships.

4) Shipping rates and payment at delivery
- Rates: Shipping charges are not paid at checkout. The shipping/delivery fee will be paid by you directly to the courier/rider upon delivery.
- Payment flow: The amount/cost of shipping or delivery, as well as the tracking number, will be emailed to you after checkout completion.
- Free shipping: If applicable, it will be shown at checkout, but any shipping charges due upon delivery will still apply if required by service level or destination.

5) Regions we ship to
- We ship nationwide within the Philippines (via SPX and Flash Express). Some items may be restricted or unavailable for certain destinations. If an item cannot be shipped to your location, we will notify you before processing the order.

6) Tracking and order status
- You will receive an email with a tracking number after your order ships (for standard shipments with SPX/Flash Express).
- For same-day deliveries via Lalamove, you will receive courier details and a delivery window via email, SMS, Viber, or messenger once your order is confirmed.
- You can also view your order status in your account under “Orders.”

7) Packaging 
- We use secure, protective packaging to minimize damage in transit.
- Please reuse and/or recycle whenever possible.

8) Delivery issues and address accuracy
- Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct at checkout. The customer is responsible for any carrier fees, re-delivery attempts, or return-to-sender costs due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
- If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by you, you may be charged re-shipping fees.

9) Lost, stolen, or damaged shipments
- If your package is lost in transit or shows as delivered but you did not receive it, contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date to investigate.
- If a package arrives damaged, please keep all packaging and contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos and videos (preferred) of the damage. We will assess and replace eligible items according to our Returns Policy.

10) Changes to shipping policies
- We may modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Updated policies will take effect immediately upon posting to our site. Your continued use of the Shop after such changes confirms your acceptance of the updated policy.
